1. Criteria for membership

Vietnam companies operating in pharmacy-related business sector, endorsing the charter of the association and joining the association on a vlountary could become members of VNPCA

a) Official membership:

– Vietnamese citizens, organizations which are not joint ventures or fully foreign-invested companies operating in pharmacy-related business sector as per law provisions of Viet Nam, being granted business registration certificate, fully meet the criteria stated under Clause 2 of this Article, endorsing the Rules of the Association and joining the Association on a voluntary basis could become official members of the Association.

b) Associate membership: companies, organizations of Viet Nam ineligible for becoming official members of the Association; joint-ventures and fully foreign-invested companies with contribution to the development of the Association and with pharmacy-related activities as per law provisions, showing willingness and voluntariness for accession, endorsing the Rules of the Association shall be considered to become the Association’s associate members.

c) Honorary membership: any Vietnamese citizens, organizations ineligible for becoming official or associate members of the Association but proving their prestige, experience and merits to the Association’s development, endorsing the Rules of the Association shall be invited to become honorary members by the Standing Committee of the Association.

2. Documents for registration

– The Application letter according to the form stipulated by the Association

– The copy of the incorporation license or decision or certificate of business registration

– A photograph of the representative (in case of an organization) or autobiography with commitment and a photograph (in case of an individual)

3. Initial joining fee

The organization, individual pay the Initial joining fee in cash or transfer by bank to the Association Office within 7 working days from the date the Chairman announce admission of membership.

The Initial joining fee is 3 million VND/member

4. Decision on admission of membership

The organization, individual receive decision on admission of membership  within no more than 7 (seven) working days from the date the Association receives the Initial joining fee.

5. Membership fee (following to the provisions of Decision No. 372/QD-HHD dated December 22, 2023 of the Executive Committee)

Members pay the membeship fee based on the revenue of the previous year

  • The revenue less than 100 billion VND: membership fee is: 10 million VND/year.
  • The revenue from 100 to less than 200 billion VND: membership fee is: 15 million VND/year.
  • The revenue from 200 to less than 300 billion VND: membership fee is: 20 million VND/year.
  • The revenue from 300 to less than 500 billion VND: membership fee is: 25 million VND/year.
  • The revenue over 500 billion VND and less than 1,000 billion VND: membership fee is: 30 million VND/year.
  • The revenue over 1,000 billion VND: membership fee is: 40 million VND/year.
